OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR(SECRETARY) POSITION AVAILABLE

Princess Street United Church, 484 Albert St., Kingston, Ontario is seeking a personable part time office administrator (secretary) effective October 17, 2011.
Hours are 9 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. weekdays.
Duties include: providing secretarial support to the Minister, the Official Board, and its committees; weekly preparation and printing of the Church bulletin; recording and relaying telephone messages; organizing and maintaining office files; documenting accounts receivable and payable on Simply Accounting software. Familiarity with Simply Accounting is considered an asset.
Language and computer literacy, including proficient knowledge of bookkeeping and word processing skills are essential. Effective organizational and interpersonal skills, and the maintenance of a high degree of confidentiality are important assets.
Orientation, and instruction on the church’s bookkeeping routine, will be provided.
